FAQ
Can I apply for the certificate while I am finishing courses for the program?
- No. You must complete all of the courses, then apply for the certificate. This allows the University to most efficiently check you have completed the requirements to issue your certificate.
After I submit the form, what happens? Do I get a certificate mailed to me? Do I get notification that my form has been approved? How long does that take?
- Once the form gets processed (about two weeks), it will be posted on your transcript. You will also get an email a notification. A physical certificate is mailed upon approval. Typically, it takes 8-10 weeks for students to receive their physical certificate.
I am confused and need support. Who can I talk to?
- Contact our Graduate Coordinator, Diana Chu < chud@sfsu.edu >
