Courses taught: Genetics (BIOL 355); Biology for Scientists and Engineers (CSC 858) "The goal of BIOL 355 is to give students the skills to both understand and create the next 25 years of major advances in genetics."
Before joining the Department of Biology, Scott received a Distinguished Teaching Award from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 2000, and from UC Berkeley in 2005. He authored the "Study Guide for Brooker Genetics," 3rd edition.
