Dr. Schilling works as a Staff Scientist in the Proteomics/Mass Spectrometry Laboratory at the Buck Institute for Age Research in Novato, California.  Dr. Schilling is particularly interested in using modern Mass Spectrometric methods in the field of Biomedical Research and Proteomics.  Specific research projects include investigation of oxidative damage of proteins, protein phosphorylation and other posttranslational modifications, and differential expression of proteins duirng aging processes in various neurodegenerative disease models and in cancer.
